This was an amazing series to read, i've watched the anime and though currently the anime hasnt caught up it's stayed true so let's hope that continues to be the case with this series. The way magic is portrayed and not explained thouroughly other than the functional parts relating to recovery (and food) was good in my opinion because sometimes writers get bogged down with trying to explain a system that doesn't need to be explained. (chekov's gun i think lol) This review is also very much for someone who's read it but i loved how falins chimera form looked, the level of detail put into it and the way it acts is so cute, when it's not absolutely terrifying that is... at the end when falin does finally get resurrected and the big dragon foot holding her down turns into a small little dragon, that really showed how kind falin was. Going back to explaining, creature explanations were good, especially the succubi and how there newborn are like mosquito's. also the little food graph's were cool, my favourite scene by far is the one where laois devours the winged lions desires. Thistle definitely deserved better ngl, he was just trying to save his kingdom and the lion took advantage of that so yeah #justiceforthistle. I'm happy he was okay in the end :)
