Great second season, seeing keyleth's story expanded was great and then instantly introducing her to that obstacle relating to her past and family ties. definitely a lot more emphasis on fighting this season and i loved the addition of "lair actions" present when they fought the umbrasyl in his mountain. I was like "aaahhh i know what that is" also while using amazon prime you have access to who's currently speaking and the voice who does so, seeing matt mercer who to my (small amount of) knowledge about critical role is the like, the big guy in charge or something, so seeing him play just some gaurd was crazy. Also the great-great grandpa of pike being voice acted by henry winkler works really well and fits amazingly, great role selection given who wilhand trickfoot is. A severe lack in pikes story i will admit though there was that romance sub-plot that arose between her and scanlan (i love characters with just one name, i always do it in my dnd campaign). I wonder how it'll change given the new season is coming out october 3rd 2024. which of writing this is only 2 and half weeks away!!!. I'm so excited for it.
